He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine, and subsequently a Fellowship in Medical Toxicology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Gregory Burke, MD
Dr. Burke graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. He has been a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician since 1995. After spending 10 years in the beautiful—but rain-saturated—Pacific Northwest, Dr. Burke and his family made the move to Hawaiʻi. He has been proudly practicing at Kuakini ever since. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Burke enjoys spending time at the beautiful beaches of Lanikai and Kailua with his dogs, Chloe and Koa, almost every day. When he’s not at the beach, he enjoys relaxing at home with the rest of his animal family: Jake the cat, Benny the rabbit, Kiwi the turtle, and his two parakeets, Tweety and Blue. Known as a simple country boy at heart, Dr. Fleming is just as comfortable in a cowboy hat as he is in the emergency department. Whether sharing a fine whiskey with friends, mentoring fellow physicians, or championing healthcare innovation, he brings authenticity, humility, and a deep sense of gratitude to everything he does. Throughout his career, Dr. Fleming has remained committed to supporting independent physicians, strengthening emergency medicine in Hawaiʻi, and building organizations that put both caregivers and patients first. His leadership is grounded in the values he grew up with—hard work, integrity, community, and service—making him a respected physician, advocate, and leader across the islands.

Antony Han, MD
Born in the US to Korean immigrant parents, I grew up in the Virginia countryside with a hammer usually in hand and a passion for fixing things up. These days, when I’m not diving into a carpentry project or tinkering around the house, you’ll find me hitting the open road on my motorcycle. That same problem-solving drive carries over into my career, where I thrive on working as efficiently as possible in the emergency room. For me, every streamlined process and quick fix in the ER means better, faster care for my community when they need it most.
