Jason Fleming, MD

Born and raised on a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific, Jason Fleming pretty much always wanted to be an emergency physician. A graduate of Punahou School, he attended Dartmouth College where he earned his BA in Music and Drama before attending the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine.

He trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center where he was a Flight Physician on UMass LifeFlight and served as Chief Resident. He returned to Hawaii in 2005 and worked in various emergency departments in Honolulu, from trauma centers to women’s and children’s hospitals.

In 2014 he came to Kuakini to serve as Medical Director of Emergency Services. He has since founded several businesses including a Manama services organization that supports independent physician practice in Hawaii. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for Kuakini Health System
